Were you aware that there existed a report of virality? I was not even aware that virality was a word. It doesn’t naturally exist in the Microsoft Word dictionary, but it is in fact a word that describes how viral something is. As the mother of two kids I would argue that everything is viral as we are constantly fighting a virus or fighting to avoid one that is “going around.” But that isn’t exactly the same kind of viral that virality refers to.
What causes some online content to be shared and shared again? I hadn’t given it much thought before, but not to fear, someone has studied it of course. I came across this report while briefly perusing viral videos.
